Psychotherapy is a powerful form of consistent self-care, helping you discover the resources within yourself which enable you to find solutions to life’s challenges and to grow in emotional well-being. My ultimate purpose is to assist you in uncovering what gets in the way. I believe presence, creativity, and freedom represent the very basis of our humanity. When we become aware of this, our natural wholeness in body-mind, we enjoy present-felt awareness and harmony with our world!
About Dr. Carolyn Craft
With over 35 years experience and study in various schools of psychotherapy, I work primarily with relational models including Compassionate non-violent communication, Behavioral & Mindfulness practice, Gestalt therapy, Heartmath Principles, as well as Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic therapies; and where needed non-religious spiritual counseling. My approach combines intuitive wisdom with the latest tools and techniques in body-mind awareness. I am also one of few in the Triangle area offering Hakomi body-centered experiential psychotherapy. Before beginning my work in psychotherapy, I was a speaker, spiritual leader, and broadcast host interviewing such visionaries as Wayne Dyer, Gary Zukav, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson and more on my WISDOM Media’s TV/Radio, and SiriusXM Network.
